Event description

The Australian Sheep and Wool Show is the largest show of its type in the world where each year up to 3000 sheep from across Australia with 30 plus breeds compete in the show ring. Added to that are up to 400 trade sites covering everything from the finest woollen clothing to large machinery. Shearing and Dog trial competitions are also part of the event as is a Festival of Lamb marquee showcasing how to cut up a carcass and cook food.

During The Event

The ASWS is committed to ensuring positive community health and wellbeing, whilst conducting the Australian Sheep and Wool Show in our outdoor display space and indoor pavilions. The event will be updated in line with requirements by DHS as needed.

  • Masks are encouraged but not compulsory
  • Vaccination is not a requirement to attend this event
  • Social Distancing is encouraged and will be supported by our organisation
  • Hand Sanitiser will be available throughout the venue.
