Celebrating Legacy, Innovation and the Heart of Australian Fibre
It's time to be inspired! This year's lunch event again shines a spotlight on the incredible women shaping the future of Australian wool—from paddock to product, heritage to innovation.
Our 2025 Women of Wool:
Our guest speakers embody the spirit of Women of
Wool, sharing stories woven with tradition, creativity, and a deep respect for
natural fibre.
Wendy Dennis brings a lifetime of love for wool, from sneaking into shearing sheds as a child to becoming a global advocate for coloured sheep and natural fibres. As custodian of the historic Tarndwarncoort homestead and the legacy of the Polwarth sheep, Wendy has championed naturally coloured wool, connecting with fibre artists worldwide and leading international wool-craft initiatives with heart and purpose.
Rosemary White, the driving force behind Leahcim Wool, has redefined what it means to be a modern wool producer. From her family's 150-year-old farm in Snowtown, SA, Rosemary has built a 100% Australian-made supply chain—transforming elite Merino fleece into exquisite yarn and knitwear. Her bold leap into farm-to-fashion showcases the power of passion and vision in creating something truly meaningful.
Your Host - Catriona Rowntree
As a Women of Wool crowd favourite, Catriona
returns, bringing her energy, warmth, charm and a deep love of the land. The
perfect host for Women of Wool, Catriona is known to many as the “Queen of
Travel” from her decades on Getaway, and is also a proud farmer, wool advocate,
and passionate storyteller.
Beyond the screen, she's immersed herself in the world of wool through life on her family's Merino property, where she champions sustainable farming and rural communities. With her signature enthusiasm and heartfelt connection to the land, Catriona brings energy, insight and heart to every conversation.
And, hear inspiring stories from our special guest speaker Justine Minne, Head of Community Banking at Bendigo Bank Agribusiness, who was raised on a sheep farm in North Central Victoria—where she and her family still lend a hand—and has carried her deep-rooted passion for wool and strong sense of community into a career dedicated to supporting rural and regional Australia.
Tickets include gate entry to the show, a 2-course luncheon with beverages included, our inspiring presenters and entertainment, plus access to all of the show's vendors, fashion parades, the Festival of Lamb and craft areas.
